The Servant’s Triumphal Entry

In just a couple of weeks from now, the sports world will draw massive viewership numbers as millions of football fans will watch the NFL draft. They’ll be watching with the hopes that their team will draft a player that will take their team to the Super Bowl (Just ask Pastor Kirk how that Patrick Mahomes draft pick worked out for KC). As human beings we have a tendency to place our hopes in all the wrong things at the expense of remembering that Jesus is our only hope. We look forward to feeding you breakfast this Sunday (it’s the Rooted Youth Pancake Feed) and then feeding you with the truth of God’s Word. Pastor Dave talks about how the cry of “save us” to Jesus during his triumphal entry into Jerusalem was short of understanding what Jesus was really going to be saving the world from.
