I always seem to become frustrated when using my wife’s phone. Now, she has the exact same iPhone I have, but one key setting differs between the two, that of screen dimness. Gloria likes her screen soft and dim, and I like mine sharp and bright. So, when she passes her phone to me to view something I invariably find myself frustrated in that I first need to always locate my reading glasses, and even then, the screen is so dim I can hardly read it! 

I am grateful that any real or perceived dimness is dispelled in Jesus! In fact, He makes the powerful and grand proclamation in John 8:12 that He is the Light of the world, and that as we follow Him we will have the Light of life. We will look closely at this statement on Sunday and by the illumination of the Holy Spirit discern why it is of such great significance to each of us.
