What Must We Do?

We come to our final sermon on the text of Luke 18:35-43 this week. We have seen how the Lord is on the move, how the Lord asks what we want Him to do, and now we will look into what we can do to prepare for His work amongst us. 

The thought I had as I prepped this week was “good intentions.” We all know about them, those things we know or want to do, but just don’t get around to them for whatever reason. In the end, good intentions don’t do much if anything, and what truly counts is what is actually accomplished. So, this week, by God’s grace, we will move beyond ‘good intentions’ and seek actions that will prepare us for God’s work amongst us.
